If you put Food and water silos on your ranch you can save on livery fees and windmills pay money straight to your bank account. Also put every penny you can in the band cause it earns intrest.

Unless you are a proven 1st or 2nd placer in competitions, I would drop the exp training and the competition. You might end up spending more than you earn--which in many cases, there is always a player who has a better stat horse or a horse more suited to competition with maxed stats, companions and 4* tack. Mining is a great way to earn money. Questing is great as well. Look on the highest paying quests tab on EL. I've done that and, with a combination of mining, selling and breeding (my own already paid for high stat studs and mares) horses, and trying to find lucky finds, and doing lots of questing and saving- I earned over 6 million in just 2-3 weeks. Mind you, I did have to devote a lot of time into a computer game while I shamelessly gamed for long periods of time while my *real* horses where staring at me through the living room window like "Are you kidding me? What's so great about those pixels!?". So, if you devote enough time, and effort to the cause it is reachable. In a short period of time. You can see some side notes below but they aren't VERY important.
Take breaks when playing, it will help you make better decisions in real life--and on the game. Remember--you are SAVING money, not saving money to blow while you are saving money (sounds weird--but I used to do it!). Save every dollar you can. Don't change your clothes or hairstyle, don't buy extra pieces of pretty mane things. Actually SELL all your absolutely un-needed possessions. Like that lupine mane decoration--sell it. Actually, if you are VERY serious about saving-- buy a set of.. cheap tack (I know, so dishonoring to your horse! Ha. Not really. Pixel ponies don't need that Light Brown nice English tack set to be happy!) and sell all the rest of your tack. Stock up on water pails and apples and hay. Or, you can pay one big fee at the livery, and then do smaller fees after wards to keep your pixels healthy. There are other ways if you are absolutely DEVOTED to that Esroh tack. Like for example: Sell all but one horse. Crazy, but if you have lots of horses, even if they are really, really low stat, put a few trainings on them and sell to the foreign. Rarely is anyone going to want to do that--but I'm giving you desperate options here. There are lots of options and ways to make money. Try not to spend any money on anything extra. That *sigh* is why I wish we had multiple bank accounts to keep us from spending money accidentally or in silly ways!

If you do all things stated above, and empty out your on hand cash into the bank, you get a lot of money that way. Say you already have that 50 million in the bank, every day it will collect around 100k a day.
