| Just wondering if anyone else goes through having the random generator produce 'runs'? I had a run of 146 foals, now I'm getting 143, 144, 145 and the occasional 148. Every single breeding could have produced a 150, and with the law of averages at least a 149 or 150 should have turned up, somewhere. Being statistically minded I'm finding this very strange. Out of let's say 60 breedings, every one having the potential to produce +150 foals, I've had three. That's one in twenty. Is this normal? Because I do not want to breed twenty substandard foals for every +150. Even if you add in a few 149s, that's still a terrible amount of wastage in time and money.
I'd love to hear from anyone who breeds a lot and has the data. I'm getting very disenchanted with LifeCycle, and I'm starting to think it's not worth bothering. It's just pouring money and time away for no result.

| I don't have actual data but I have something similar to that... most of my time is spent breeding for my own personal enjoyment and usually I find that I have a batch of foals where 90% of them I want to keep and then the next I debate keeping any.
I'm sure you know this, but it's near impossible to get a +150 without experience and training on both parents.If you didn't, that may be your problem.
And, well, if you're not proud of what you have to say, you might as well not say it at all.
