| we were all newbs at one point, but one thing that started to run through my head was when does someone become "experienced" and I assume it differs for each person, so lets here it! I suppose I felt I had graduated from newbie hood when I bought my first sub, but how did it work for you? P.S. I almost put "when a player starts acting respectfully (stops begging etc.)" but for some of us who actually read the rules before joining, never created this problem ;P

| I chose other because I think that rather than being one specific occurance, it's more of a montage of things that a player does or understands that makes them no longer a "newb". Having done a few arenas, maybe crafting some things, done a good amount of quests and caught a few horses. Other things should probably be included, too. However, I see many subs in help chat that ask newbie questions, and I wasn't playing for longer than a few weeks before I felt I really understood the game. Basically what I'm saying is, meeting 1 or 2 criteria doesn't necessarily mean you understand the game well.

| It's been awhile since anyone voted. I agree with GlassOnion and I agree with that " I almost put "when a player starts acting respectfully (stops begging etc.)" but for some of us who actually read the rules before joining, never created this problem" statement wholeheartedly.

| I believe a player is no longer a newb after they have been playing the game for 3+ months. This gives the player time to explore and learn about all aspects of the game; competing, questing, maybe even meeting an esroh, as well as all the other things included in the poll above. It simply for me comes down to when the player has gotten a hold of the concept of the game and what it's all about. Learn the in's and out's, per say.
Yes! My avatar is my own horse, in case you were wondering. She's a dork, I know.

| I think that if a player knows most of the larger details about the game and how it works, and knows how to play while being respectful to other players, the length of the time played/the ammount of things used or done, etc doesn't matter.. I 'stalked' one website for quite a while before my parents let me join it, and just from looking at everything I already knew how to use that website better than a lot of other people (some even with the premium subscriptions) by the time I actually made an account. And besides, even if I hadn't, just the way I work I can figure things out quickly. I just pay a lot of attention!

| I think that a player is no longer a newb when they've played for 3 months+ because someone could get lucky, catch a nice horse and get bareback in a month or so and not know how to buy a ranch. We are all newbs to some concepts, we don't know everything about horse isle. The more knowledge one has, the less 'newb-ish' one is.
