1- THIS MAY CONTAIN A SPOILER!
2- Please forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong place. This is my first post.

LeeWardSan gives you a list at the Curvy Isle Dockhouse, and tells you that if you guess what he is making, he will give you an extra reward. You take the list to LordSteel on Barren Isle and it takes 2 days to make the required parts for this mystery object.

Well, guess what? This silly newbie turned in the list without looking at it. :/ Does anyone know what was on the list, or what he is making? The mystery parts will be finished in about 9 hours, and then I'll have to turn it in. sad

I have wondered also and no clue but here is the list of items
1 huge brass cauldron
8 copper dragons
8 quartz marbles
8 copper toads
one very huge counterweight
several chains
and some gears -

It strikes a chord but I my  guess at the time ( cappucino maker) was all wrong.so good luck to anyone who finally does get it.

It wasn't a trebuchet. Which makes sense, he would have need a big frame.

Still, what sticks out is the counterweight/chain/gear. The dragons/toads/marbles go in the cauldron, I think...

What I'm wondering is why there are 8 copper DRAGONS and 8 copper TOADS.  Why do they need to be dragons and toads?  Why not just copper?

I've tested "seismograph" on LC - no result, he still tells me it's wrong. Perhaps this can't be answered at all.

Come poke me anywhere you can find me if you have HI/EL questions! <3

I put in seismograph and it worked for me.  Though it didn't give me anything for guessing it right.  Make sure you spell it right I guess.

I have no eternal account. Or at least I don't anymore.

An ancient Chinese "seismometer" featured eight copper dragons attached to a large urn and holding a ball in their mouths. Below each dragon was a copper toad. When a ball fell from the mouth of one of the dragons, the direction of the earthquake could be determined.

That said, "seismometer" was not the answer to the question, but perhaps "seismograph," when spelled correctly, is. Good luck!

Seismograph is the correct answer to get the full amount of reward money.
