You won't get stupid PMs, unless you break this sites rules or the forum rules and if there are any updates/information you should know. We rarely send out update messages, since it is almost always on the front page for you to check yourself. We ask you to register under your HI2 username so you can participate in our forums and other functions without confusion. We do check the usernames, so no impersonating another player is allowed. This allows us to manage accounts and who is able to view our content and prevent our content from being stolen. None of your personal information will be shared and we do not have any access to passwords.
In other words; using your own HI2 username ensures that you are on here only for quest guides, minigame help, various other lists that help in game, etc. instead of stealing it for your own site.
If you do not like the rules of the site, you simply do not have to sign up or use it.
