I was looking over how you have written the breeding setup. I want to make a suggestion. I have found it easier to think of the -/+ genes in terms of both parents have a -2/+2 the Bonuses can be applied to get a -1 or 0 for the 1k and 10k experience horses respectively. Then you add the two gene deviation for both horses to get the gene deviation. I found that I could predict a particular pair's genetic for the foal easier. I kept messing it up the other way.

Mare......-2/+2
Stallion..-1/+2
Foal.......-3/+4

Well... no. This isn't how the genes work...

If you are having trouble figuring out how to calculate stats, please see BrightLight's Sticky Post in the Breeding forum called: "How to work out your foal's potential genes". (http://hi2lc.horseisle.com/www/forums.php?FORUM=10&VIEWID=2394)

The foal's stats can be anywhere in the range of the stallion's and mare's stats, then you can add 4 or subtract 4 for the possible high and possible low. And subtract a number from the negatives for each breeding bonus.

So, if I have a -8 in agility Dam and a +5 in agility sire, and the dam has 1 breeding bonus (1k exp) and the sire has 2 (10k exp) the calculation would be similar to this:

Breeding bonuses = (-4) + 3 = (-1)

New stat range is -1 to +4.

So possible high agility stat is: +9

Possible low agility stat: -9

I hope that actually made sense and was not just pathetic rambling. tongue Course, I may be wrong, but this has worked for all my Theesys so far.
