I chose this category, because the first thing that popped into mind was "Tack." There are so many things I would love to see added to the game, so here are a few of my ideas. Item #4 would either take up the saddle slot, or saddle pad slot. Either way, the horse would be considered "insufficiently tacked" for people without the Bareback Bonus to ride, which would also support its function.
Item #1: Bridleless Bit A bridle without the headstall. (+1 all Comp stats) Items needed: 1 Snaffle Bit, 1 Small Silver Buckle, 2 Leather Strips Construction Level Required: Level 3
Item #2: Bitless Bridle An English-style bitless bridle. (+5 all Comp stats) Items needed: 5 Leather Strips, 4 Small Silver Buckles Construction Level Required: Level 2 (Could also have roughly crafted thru finely crafted variants, like the hackamore and other crafted bridles.)
Item #3: Rope Halter A simple rope halter. Items needed: 2 rope, 1 jar of [colour]dye Construction Level Required: Level 1
Item #4: Bareback Pad A comfortable pad to cushion long rides. Items needed: 1 cloth, 2 leather strips, 2 large silver buckles, 2 pieces of leather, 2 wool, 1 jar of [colour]dye Construction Level Required: Level 3
