| Hi ya guys. I thought we could all talk about what we do in our horse world. I ride english.. and Im a hunter jumper (although I don't jump to high yet since I was pushed back because of pony problems). I have 3 horses Ruby, PJ, and Dragon. I just sold my pony Stormy and miss him terribly but am getting over it. We had to sell him because he was being a big fat brat! He would rear and buck and everything... no matter what we did he didn't get any better. But let me tell you.. I think every one needs a kick butt evil pony because they really teach you how to ride. Stormy has really taught me how to ride evil... EVIL horses. I can ride anything now. hahaha I do show, my very first show was a couple years ago with Stormy and we did fantastic! We got a 5th place ribbon in pleasure (not our best since... well Stormy is a pony and has a pony trot lol) and 2 1sts in equation. I had to post without stirrups 5 HUGE!! and I mean huge laps around that arena. I remember my trainer was by the rail just telling me.... "You're doing it (my name), just keep smiling just keep smiling." I will never forget that. I am a firm believer in animal communication! We had Stormy read and the communicator told me something that was totally my pony! It was so cool and I totally recommend everyone to have their pets read. And anyone can communicate with animals too! Im currently taking classes to learn how. I have small conversations with my dog Wesley every night.  Cant wait to hear about you guys.

| Abandon all ye who hopes for me to write eloquently, for thy has another thing coming at ya. (Woo! Go bad writing!) I ride both English and Western, but now I am riding full-time English. I own no horses but I've been riding for 4 years now. However, I do posture training 24/7 now in the once weekly riding lesson I get at the barn I ride at (Wow, I've been saying "ride" a lot.). I must admit though, have a mean canter >:D However, I always do better when I ride without stirrups. Weird? Yes. Sadly, I'm horrible at my standing trot, but I'm improving a little each week. And no, I don't do any equine sports...yet.

| I ride mostly western but I wanna learn how to ride English :), I go for leasons once every three weeks, I have 2 horses right now, I have a pretty 8 year old quater horse named Diamond, who is not rideable right now, we'll starts training her this weekend I hope and a 4 year old paint in traing name StarRose(Well, taht's I call her, her real name is Charger's Tinky Rocket! Lol!!)
May the horse be with oyu and I was never here :)

| I have 3 horses. one is my mom's, one's mine, and one's retired. I ride my mom's in a lesson every week that I take with one of my friends from school, and I ride him in shows while she ride my horse. (long story. basically, Mom's horse is more advanced, while mine's a bit more beginner, so I ride Mom's since I'm a bit more of an advanced rider than my friend is.) Anyway, I prefer trail riding with my horse, Petey, who is a registered QH (El Chapos Pino Pete), and he's the absolute perfect horse for trail riding. Absolutely bombproof, no way you could get him to bolt. (unless my dog nearly flips him over when the dog's running from a squirrel... >.> Yeah. my dog's stupid.) I've been riding since I was about 3 (not telling how long ago that was! ) and there's nothing I'd rather be doing in any season except winter, when it's just too darned cold to ride! (well, I split my time between HI & my rl horses) that's about it....
You can lead a horse to water... And Jack Bauer can make it drink.
I live for the sound of hoof beats in a forest green.

| I have 7 horses: Bugsy, Cappy, Tex, GT, Rocky, Fred and Ivy. Me and my family sort of share all of them between us (although my parents don't ride), and we are all showjumpers. The horse that I have been competing with (jumping about 4 ft) recently went lame and it was discovered that he had a sore heel in his clubbed foot so I can't jump him for a while 
My sister also has a super little Connemara and he loves to jump. He is very fast in jump offs and really hard to beat 
Anyway, when I'm not competing in showjumping, me and my sisters train our horses in dressage....

| I have been riding since I was 3. I got my own horse for Christmas last year  His name is Casino and he is a Paint/QH. I do Hunters with him, and I'm starting to show him in 2'6'' classes (which includes flat classes). I'm going to have my first show this weekend, and my friend and I will be in the same classes I really think Casino and I have a special bond. He knows when my dad/mom and I pull into the barn's parking area. He'll put his head out of the stall and watch us drive in! He also taught himself to rest his muzzle on my cheek! The only problem with Casino is his bolting. If the wind makes a tree rustle when he least expects it, off he goes full speed! Luckily, he's gotten a lot better with his bolting and horses cantering up behind him.
Other than that, he is the perfect horse

| Okay update on my horse family. I just got a new horse today. We traded him with Dragon because we were selling him anyway and it just worked out. My new horse is a chestnut 15 yr old 15.3hh thoroughbred gelding named Finnick (yes after the hunger games charrie.. I love Hunger Games). He is the sweetest little doll and loves to jump. And get this! His Grandsire is Secretariat!!! Im so happy now... even though I still miss Stormy.

| (Cool Stormy. I want to meet Finnick now!) My horse story is not very long, but knowing me I will probably make it long. The Horses: Stories
(The colors correspond with the horses' tack.)
Prince: 25 year old Egyptian Arabian Gelding. He was my horse when I was younger. Now he is retired. (Little) Indian: 6 year old Chestnut Lace Appaloosa Gelding. He is my riding/jumping horse now. He is used for my Mom's lessons. Also known as Indie. Victoria: 9 year old Bay Sabino Morgan Mare. My sister's jumping/dressage horse. She is used for my Mom's lessons. Also known as Victorious. Nickers: 13 or 14 year old White Grey Arabian Mare. My Mom's horse. Of course she is used for my Mom's lessons. Zen: 8 year old Black Quarter Horse Gelding. My brother's horse. He usually jumps with him. Marley: 5 year old Shetland Pony Gelding. He is my sister's newest horse. He is never ridden, because he is too small. He lives in the house like a dog. (Not even joking!) The only tack he has is a halter and lead rope.  That is about it except for some boarders. P.S. I don't like boarders. They act like they own the place and don't respect me (the teenagers). I have the right to get rid of them! Haha, actually I don't but sometimes I wish.

| Hm. Let's see. Well I have a pony, myself. But, she lives with my dad. And my dad doesn't live with me. Actually, he lives a few states over. So I can't exactly go see my horse all the time. When he moved there, and I came to visit for the summer, he randomly decided to buy me a horse. Any horse would do. I wasn't even ready for one, at the time. But still, I wound up with a 2-year-old $200 bay crossbreed, who wasn't even halter-broke when we got her. But she's amazing. Super calm and tolerant. She's 5 now, and people are just starting to ride her. Over the summer I would ride her, but now that I'm back home I'm not sure what's going on because my dad never gives me a straight answer when I ask about her. So here at home, I take lessons, riding English. I'm kind of a jumper. I don't do shows; I hate them. I screwed up in my last show, and since then I haven't been as big on jumping as I was. And in the future, I wanna be a jockey. I have no idea how I'm gonna make that happen... but I'm gonna make it happen. ;D

| I've been taking dressage lessons for about 4 years. I haven't shown in any dressage shows yet because my horses that are not lame are gaited.
I have shown easy gaited pleasure and equitation on my Tennessee Walkers, saddleseat of course.
I've also shown gymkhana classes, western pleasure/equitation classes, and showmanship classes. My favorite would be costume of course
Recently I have been jumping my Tennessee Walking Horse gelding over small jumps since we are both new to jumping. My favorite discipline is dressage since it's the basis of all riding.

| Last December i got my first horse, i have been riding for 9 years though. Max is a 9 year old bay thoroughbred gelding with a white star that looks like an arrow. He is 15.3 hands high and he is a huge little devil First he goes and rips the necks off all his rugs, but leaving the body in perfect condition, he's a terrible bucker and pigrooter and after all the times i've managed to stay on him i could be star of a rodeo Haven't had much luck with him so far, he is sooooo supple and perfect when i ride him bareback but he is really sensitive and he tenses up and throws his head up under saddle. He's been getting a bit better lately with the help of a friend but we have tried everything, we got a saddle fitter out and we got some grand prix rider/trainer out but he still has problems. He has such a cute and wonderful personality on the ground though and he really tries hard to please Oh yeah, i ride English and before i got Max i was jumping 4 foot and completing flying changes and half passes on school horses. But then my equestrian center closed down and mum bought me my own horse It really sucks though because one of my friends got a horse the same time as me, a 15.3 Chestnut 4 year old Thoroughbred gelding called Archie. He's been really good for her. But last year was my first year of high school and my school isn't into sport it's more interested in music, however 4 of my horse crazy friends all went to schools that offer equestrian as a sport. Lucky the one without a horse went to a school that provides horses  I just feel ripped off, and our school accepts all the reject sl*** who get expelled from other schools (all girls school by the way). I also want to be a vet but a lot of the school have learning difficulties and the rest get all E's in math *not even joking*, so our school is more focused on the under achievers than the over achievers, i think me and my group of friends are the only people there with half a brain  Oh well just better start believing in reincarnation

My buddies hear me rant about how bad my horse is. He is a half Shetland and some other breed. He has the legs of a horse and the build of a pony. He is 12 and super stubborn. He will intentionally hurt me to be able to get out of work. Whenever I TRY to ride him, he walks in undercover to rub me off his back. He is a loving sweet boy but not when it comes to work. Its a fight to even pick up he feet. I LOVE him and he LOVES me, thats all that matters.

| i don't have my own horse, but i do lessons and now ride bareback. when i get a job that pays well and get enough money, i want a few horses.
