How do you feel about people coming up to you when you...

| I'm one of the "Other" groups. I do go up to people when they stop. I look and see if they have a horse, I check the breed, and if I don't like it, I leave. If I do, I wait for them to have their turn, and if they fail, I go for it. What irks me, is the players that catch every single horse, just because they can. You really shouldn't catch horses other player's have found that you don't even want. Its not against the rules, no. But its pretty rude. Sometimes I wish people would stop and think. "How would I feel if they were me?"

| I'm in that "stop flocking me" category. It annoys me (and amuses me) when players suddenly swing by me because I stopped. I stop often, and it's usually because I've tabbed to another window or went AFK. Nonetheless, I know why people do it, and I think it's just as annoying. I once counted seven, yes, SEVEN people hovering around a grullo Nokota. Not five yards away was another horse (Suffolk Punch), but they were all determined to try to grab that Nokota. That's just greedy and rude at that point. I'm okay with people who want to take a shot at a horse if someone fails. I get that, and I think it's completely fair. I don't do it myself (I might if it's a horse I -really- want, but I'd still probably ask first). If I happen to already be passing very close by to a stopped player, I might swing a little out of the way just to see if they found a horse, and if so, what, but only because I'm a curious creature. I always move on. It does bother me, though, when people just beeline for a stopped player. Yes, it's possible that the stopped player is trying to tame a horse, but really, are you that desperate for a horse that you have to bite their heels for it?

| When I was looking up personalities I would just run up to a person and stop beside them so I could record the data. Often they would run away and I realized it was a lot like the cattle herding game (lol). This was, like, in the center of towns and such. When a person comes up to me in the field, I try to telepathically urge them away, however I can't really do anything about it. As for the vice versa, I like to sit in the vicinity of a person who is catching a horse to see what the horse looks like and of course to steal the personality. I generally try to wish a person luck to let them know that I will not snark their prize. However... I do get a little antsy when another person comes over and doesn't necessarily have the same mental rules of playing like I do.
A Shocked Sherlock, Wat son?

| The other day, I was hanging out on Savanna, passively looking for a Shagya while I was on another site. I'd stop and go AFK about every 5-10minutes after scoping the isle. -Every time- I stopped, the exact same player would come up to me. When she saw I was not by a horse, she'd stop and wait. When I moved again and stopped, she came and checked. I found it pretty annoying. It's ridiculous when you go to an isle -just- to wait for another player to find a horse for you. Lazy much?

| I love looking at other people's profiles, so I tend to ride up to people in towns. Or, if I see a cool colour horse being ridden, I must catch up! Out in the "wild" I usually don't pay attention to my mini map and sometimes cross paths with people ( who might think I'm stalking them), but I'm just trying to get this dang Ares quest done!

| 99% of the time I am not even near a horse. I never go near somebody that's not moving unless it's a small isle and I have somewhere to go. It's rude and inconsiderate to the players that stop moving.

| I'm in the "other" category. I tend to go where players are stopped ALL the time. I've never stolen a horse from someone though. I'm working on getting 75% mini games done, and those suckers are hard to find on big isles! So, i will go to a stop player in hopes that they found one and can save me the trouble and wasted time of looking myself. If I stop because someone's catching a horse, it's because I am ridiculously curious and like to see what the breed/stats are. I've never tried to catch a horse that someone is already trying to get As for people who stop by me or follow me, it only really bothers me in caves. If I fail getting a horse and someone else is there to catch it, I think it's fair for them to try. I very rarely do it to other people, but if I've had my fair chance to catch the horse I think it's fine if someone else takes a turn. Sorry, I know i have a long post XD. It's just hard to explain that i don't mind people stopping but i don't wait to catch another's horse in a short message.

| Just a note for those of you who "chase" down people to look at their profiles/horses... you realize you can look at that by just pulling up Players -> View List of Players in Your Area? Anyone who's on the same isle you can view their profile. I used to do that too my first week. People probably thought I was creepy.

| I find it amusing. When I need a good laugh, I'll often go to isles bareback and hide partway behind a tree with my horse's head sticking out. It's rather funny when they come over and are like o.O

| I'm in the "stop flocking" category now. Just had that happen to me on 3 different isles and I wasn't even near a wild horse. I just had to go let my dog out

| I go out of my way to avoid people on the mini map. If they've found a wild, congrats. If they're afk, then cool. This is irritating, and needs to stop.
For external use only. If ingested, call your poison control center immediately.
